Venues and guest lists and dresses, oh my! If you’re currently in the throes of planning your nuptials you know how stressful it can be. For all the excitement there are also countless things to think about, choices to make and tasks to delegate. To make the whole process easier, why not turn to your iPhone? There are several apps available that make getting from the engagement to the alter a lot less stressful.

iWedding Deluxe

If you’ve been feeling overwhelmed with the wedding planning process and can’t seem to get organized this is the app for you. Create to-do lists, manage your budget, make notes, keep track of guests (from invite to RSVP), add photos and more. There is also a handy business locator to help you find the nearest wedding vendors for all your nuptial needs. $7

Wedding 911 by The Knot

The popular site for all things wedding also has a helpful app that aims to answer all of your wedding-related questions. Think of it as having 24/7 access to a wedding planner or friend who has gone through the process. From cake-cutting to vows to décor to etiquette, get advice right from the app or post questions and get answers from people who have done it. Free

iBride

Not sure where to get flowers? Can’t find a photographer? This app offers a directory of wedding vendors in 13 categories in over 50 cities in Canada and the US. From wedding favours and cakes to invitations and accessories this is a helpful app for anyone still searching for various wedding-related items.  Free

Bride Guide

If a wedding planner doesn’t fit into your budget consider this comprehensive app the next best thing. Start by plugging in your wedding date to get a pre-populated to-do listed based on how much time you have left to plan. Add items to your list, get helpful information on many facets of wedding planning (ceremony, reception, flowers, music, photography and more) and keep track of your budget. $5

iBridalGown

Some women find a dress in mere days, while others toil through mountains of taffeta and tulle before finding the perfect gown. If you need some assistance we suggest this app that helps guide you to the perfect gown.  Store information about dresses you like, use the glossary to understand the jargon used to describe wedding dresses, share photos of your top choices and search for bridal shops in your area. $4

Happy planning!

I really like Wedding Snap. They have an app that automatically gathers guests’ photos from their smartphones and uploads them directly to the bride’s album online.
